We know that this world is the alternate universe because it is a place where the citizens do not suffer hunger as long as they have food. With this comes the increased need for food and there is nothing wrong with that.Unfortunately, not everyone lives in this universe. In fact, many people who do live in this world have no clue about the events happening in the other. They could well be getting over the trauma of the initial events and therefore not fully realize that this is the alternate universe and that they are now a part of a new problem as well.So far, we know that the entire season of The Hunger Games will take place in a different reality than the one that it was in in the first season.
